Away from the constraints of commercial air travel, those who can afford it fly by private jet. Some businesses use their own private jets to fly their teams out for business reasons, but private jets are often chartered for leisure. So where exactly are the wealthy traveling to and why?

St. Moritz, Switzerland

This popular ski destination offers such an experience for the elite and attracts many royal families. The scenery can only be described as epic, and there are ample fine-dining restaurants as well as high-end shops with luxury goods. From Geneva or Milan airports, it takes around three to four hours to reach the resort. But by private jet, you can fly into Samedan Airport and be there in just 15 minutes.

New York, United States

As a worldwide business and financial center, the city attracts business travelers and tourists alike. Visitors may head for Times Square, Central Park, and the Empire State Building, shop, or see a Broadway show.

London, England

One of the most visited cities in the world, people come for the history, culture, and luxury shopping. Clients from the Middle East often have a second home there and travel to escape the summer desert heat. It is also a financial center and attracts travelers for business. There are five airports in the area, with Farnborough Airport and London Luton Airport being the most popular for private jets.

Paris, France

The 'city of light' continuously attracts travelers from all over the world. The wealthy love to shop there and eat at exclusive restaurants. They also like the rich culture and architecture. The London to Paris route is the most requested in Europe. Paris Le Bourget is one of the busiest airports in Europe for business jets. Roissy Charles de Gaulle Airport is an alternative.
