Four new airlines will join the list of over 90 TSA PreCheck domestic and international carriers, announcing that Cayman Airways, French bee, Titan Airways, and Zip Air will enter the expedited screening program. The program enables low-risk travelers to avail of quick and efficient screening at more than 200 US airports nationwide. These passengers can keep their belts, jackets, and shoes and are not required to remove their laptops from their bags for screening.
In addition, 99% of TSA PreCheck passengers have dedicated security screening lines at airports with usual wait times of less than ten minutes.
PreCheck is available for passengers departing from US airports or connecting onto a domestic service after returning to the United States. US citizens, nationals, and permanent residents can apply for the scheme. As announced in May, teenagers 13 to 17 can accompany an enrolled guardian when traveling on the same booking.

Budget carriers joining the list
French bee and Zip Air, both low-cost carriers serving different markets, have joined the ranks with TSA PreCheck now available. Zip Air, a low-cost offshoot of Japanese carrier Japan Airlines (JL), currently serves US destinations on the West Coast, from Tokyo Narita and onwards to other Asian destinations. On the other hand, French bee based out of its home at Paris Orly serves Los Angeles, Miami, Newark, and San Francisco while also connecting San Fran to the South Pacific with service to Papeete in French Polynesia.
Cayman Airways and Titan Airways are the other two joining the list, with Cayman serving the US ports of Miami, New York JFK, and Tampa year round, with seasonal services to Denver and Los Angeles from its home at Grand Cayman. Miami is also served directly from Cayman Brac. Titan, however, is a short-notice ACMI and wet lease carrier that operates for cargo and last-minute passenger charters, usually for large tour operators, government, and sports organizations, such as the airline A321LR, used solely for the Government of the United Kingdom.

Pre-check isn't for every airline.
Enrolling in TSA PreCheck does not mean that every airline participates, which does catch passengers out. Currently, the list sits around 90 participating airlines, which include many of the major carriers serving the United States, domestically and internationally, including Air Canada, American Airlines, Azul, British Airways, Eva Air, Finnair, Frontier, Singapore Airlines, Spirit, Sunwing and Westjet (among many others).
If you're booking a trip with Aer Lingus, Iberia, Norse Atlantic, PLAY, Egypt Air, or China Southern, be warned that these carriers are yet to participate in the expedited security screening program.
